Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service and capable of forming a binding contract. You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current.

The Constitutional Analyzer, Thesis Chat, and related AI features are provided for civic-education and informational purposes only. They are generated by automated systems, may be incomplete or inaccurate, and do not constitute legal, professional, or political advice. Do not rely on them as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by: violating any law; infringing others’ rights; attempting to access accounts or data that are not yours; scraping or overloading the Service; or uploading unlawful, deceptive, or harmful content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Membership is an auto-renewing subscription billed through our payment processor (Stripe). The monthly plan is $5/ month and the annual plan is $50/ year, plus any applicable taxes.

Your membership automatically renews at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel. We will charge your payment method on each renewal date.

You can cancel at any time from Dashboard → Account Settings → Membership → Manage Billing. Cancellation stops future renewals; your membership remains active through the end of the current paid period. If you subscribed through Apple on an iOS device, manage or cancel your subscription in the App Store (Settings → your name → Subscriptions) instead. See our Billing & Refund Policy.

To be listed as a candidate or representative, you first submit an application for review. There is no application fee at this time. If your application is approved, you may choose to pay an annual listing fee to publish your listing for the year; listing fees do not auto-renew. All listing fees are non-refundable, including if a listing is later declined or removed for a Terms violation, except where required by law. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the information you publish. We may review, decline, or remove listings at our discretion. A public listing shows only your aggregate RoR Score percentage, not your individual position on each thesis.

The Service, including its text, design, and software, is owned by Map Media LLC or its licensors and protected by law. The book Reviving Our Republic and the 95 Theses are the property of their author. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. Content you submit remains yours, but you grant us a license to host and display it as needed to operate the Service.

The Service relies on third parties including Supabase (database/auth), Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI), and Google (optional sign-in). Your use of those features is also subject to those providers’ terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service or any AI output will be accurate, uninterrupted, or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Map Media LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Account Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or as needed to protect the Service or other users.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Venue for any dispute lies in the state or federal courts located in South Carolina, to the extent permitted by law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date and, where appropriate, notified to you. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
